("SitPath," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our platform located at sitpath.com and associated services. By using SitPath, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create a SitPath account, configure your synagogue's seating, or communicate with us. This includes contact information such as name, email address, and phone number, as well as organizational details like synagogue name and address.
When your congregants use SitPath to reserve seats, we collect the information they submit during the reservation process, including name, contact details, and seating preferences. We may also collect family grouping information to facilitate coordinated seating assignments.
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use SitPath, including IP addresses, browser type and version, pages visited, and session duration. This information is collected through standard server logs and analytics tools and is used solely to improve the quality of our service.
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the SitPath platform. This includes processing seat reservations, sending confirmation emails and SMS messages, generating seat assignment reports, and providing customer support. We use contact information to communicate important service announcements and respond to your inquiries.
We use aggregated, anonymized data to analyze usage patterns, identify opportunities to improve our product, and inform our business decisions. We do not use individual congregant data for any purpose beyond delivering the SitPath service to your synagogue.
We may use your email address to send you product updates, new feature announcements, and relevant educational content. You may opt out of these marketing communications at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or by contacting us directly.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information or your congregants' personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your data is yours, and we treat it with the discretion it deserves.
We may share information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating the SitPath platform, such as cloud hosting providers, payment processors, and email delivery services. All such providers are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data and may not use it for any purpose beyond providing services to SitPath.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of SitPath, our users, or the public.
We retain your account data and your congregation's reservation records for as long as your SitPath account remains active. If you cancel your subscription, we will retain your data for 90 days to allow for account reactivation, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems.
You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting sitpathsupport@gmail.com. We will complete such requests within 30 days. Please note that some information may be retained in anonymized, aggregated form even after account deletion for product analytics purposes.
Archived backup data may persist for up to 30 days following the deletion of live data, consistent with our backup retention policy. We make no guarantees about restoring deleted data from backups once the 30-day window has passed.
If you are a resident of the European Union or California, you have specific rights regarding your personal data. Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, the right to data portability, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Our infrastructure is hosted on SOC 2 Type II certified cloud providers.
Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that may affect your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law.
We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your SitPath account and to enable two-factor authentication, which is available on all plans.
